The lightweight bars are manufactured from white pine. There is a greater supply of pine in the thinner and shorter length, so we use the high quality white pine for these bars. Extremely useful in small paintings are the lightweight bars. These bars can save you money and make framing a little easier. Caution: The lightweight bars are not for use on large paintings.
